Connector Type 1, Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO

Type 1, Type 2, CCS, and CHAdeMO connectors are standardised plugs used for Electric Vehicle charging, each with different technical specifications and compatibilities.

Type 1 is primarily used in North America and some Asian countries. Type 2 is the European standard, offering Alternating Current (AC) charging. CCS (Combined Charging System) is an evolution of Type 2, integrating a Direct Current (DC) plug for rapid charging. Finally, CHAdeMO is a DC rapid charging connector, used mainly in Japan and some other regions for compatible vehicles.

Each system meets specific charging needs, depending on the region and vehicle type.
