TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)

Total cost of ownership (TCO) refers to all expenses related to the acquisition, use and maintenance of a vehicle or piece of equipment throughout its lifetime.

This includes not only the initial purchase price, but also operating, maintenance, repair, insurance, fuel or electricity costs, as well as any other expenses necessary for its operation.

TCO allows you to compare the economic efficiency of different solutions by providing a comprehensive view of long-term financial costs, beyond the simple purchase price.

It is particularly useful for evaluating vehicle fleets or investments in charging infrastructure.
