Chargepoly launches ultra-fast charging solutions for passenger transport fleets

Chargepoly, a leading French provider of ultra-fast EV charging systems, is expanding into the passenger transport market. After proving its technology in the logistics sector, the company is now bringing its expertise to fleet operators in the bus and coach industry, a fast-growing segment in the transition to zero-emission mobility.

Driving the shift to electric mobility in public and private transport

With a strong track record in freight electrification through partnerships with major players such as BERT & YOU, Renault Trucks France, and Transports Prévost, Chargepoly is now focusing on transport authorities and private passenger carriers.

“Nearly one in three new buses sold in Europe is electric. That’s a clear signal,” explains Thomas Vanquaethem, Deputy CEO of Chargepoly. “Our proven solutions are now fully tailored to meet the operational and spatial needs of passenger transport depots.”

A fleet-centric approach for bus and coach depots

Chargepoly’s infrastructure is based on a distributed charging architecture designed specifically for fleet depots. Unlike traditional dual-plug charging stations, Chargepoly separates power conversion and distribution. Power is converted centrally via remote cabinets and then routed to compact charging satellites, which can be wall- or floor-mounted. This approach offers greater layout flexibility and significantly reduces installation time and civil engineering costs.

Engineered and built in France, supported 24/7

All Chargepoly systems are manufactured in France, ensuring fast availability of spare parts and responsive support. Fleet operators benefit from 24/7 technical assistance for maximum uptime. The company designs its hardware and software in-house, giving it full control over quality, performance, and future updates.

Smart, standards-based charging with real-time control

The Chargepoly system is compatible with all major electric bus models and adheres to key industry standards (including ISO 15118, VDV261, and VDV463).
Its Lucie software platform gives fleet managers real-time visibility over charging operations and allows dynamic scheduling based on operational needs. Lucie also integrates with leading fleet management and telematics systems, and through a partnership with Dreev, offers smart charging features that align energy usage with the lowest electricity prices.

Scalable, space-saving and cost-efficient

Whether for urban depots or intercity coach hubs, Chargepoly’s modular solution is designed to scale. The small footprint of the charging satellites ensures easy integration into tight spaces, while minimising infrastructure costs. With fewer disruptions during installation and maintenance, Chargepoly helps operators stay on schedule and within budget.

“We’re helping fleet operators transition to electric with confidence,” says Hadi Moussavi, Founder and CEO of Chargepoly. “Our technology combines performance, flexibility, and cost control backed by a local support team that understands operational realities.”
