TSG and Chargepoly join forces to deliver advanced charging solutions for Volvo Trucks customers

TSG and Chargepoly, both specialists in electric vehicle charging solutions for transport and logistics, have entered into a strategic partnership to support Volvo Trucks customers in their transition to electric mobility.

TSG, an approved partner of Volvo Trucks since 2023, is the European leader in the installation and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure. With more than 39,000 charging points deployed across Europe, TSG provides end-to-end support for companies adopting sustainable mobility solutions.

Chargepoly, an international engineering and technology company, has developed a comprehensive charging offer specifically designed for heavy-duty electric vehicles. Its rapid DC charging stations, fully designed and manufactured in France, have been tested and qualified by the Volvo Group. Over recent years, Chargepoly has successfully deployed hardware and software solutions in logistics hubs to electrify last-mile delivery and distribution operations in low-emission zones (LEZ).

By combining their expertise, TSG and Chargepoly can now offer Volvo Trucks customers a turnkey solution for fleet electrification, covering system design, installation, maintenance, digital services and financing. Customers will benefit from free site assessments, a detailed quotation within one month, and guaranteed execution timelines.

On the financial side, both companies will also assist Volvo Trucks customers in accessing available public funding – including a €130 million grant scheme for electric HGV acquisition (2024 conditions pending) and the French Advenir programme supporting depot charging infrastructure. Customers will also have the option to spread the cost of their charging solution over up to 72 months through a leasing agreement with BNP Paribas.

Thomas Vanquaethem, Deputy Managing Director at Chargepoly, commented:
“This collaboration provides our customers with a proven, end-to-end solution to optimise their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). We are also proud to be working with Volvo to strengthen the development of new technologies within the French industrial landscape.”

Laurent Danhyer, Director of E-Mobility at TSG France, added:
“By joining forces, we can accelerate the roll-out of charging infrastructure and deliver sustainable solutions that prepare our customers for the future of heavy-duty transport.”

Thomas Gay, Charging Offer Manager at Volvo Trucks, concluded:
“We are confident this partnership with TSG and Chargepoly will play a key role in strengthening our position in the heavy-duty electric truck market and in helping our customers achieve their sustainability goals. We remain committed to staying at the forefront of innovation in electric transport.”
