Dynamic Pricing (UK / Europe)

Dynamic pricing is an electricity and EV charging billing method that adjusts costs based on factors like time of day, grid demand, and renewable energy availability.

It encourages off-peak charging, reduces grid congestion, and helps integrate renewable energy into the system.

In the UK, this approach is commonly called Time-of-Use (ToU) Tariffs, supporting both cost savings for users and sustainable energy management.

It centralises the supply of electricity from the public grid or an internal source (such as a transformer) and distributes it to secondary circuits (lighting, heating, industrial equipment, charging stations, etc.).
