SGVI Groupe Renaudeau launches Electric Charging Station in Lisieux to support Sustainable Mobility

SGVI, the Renault Trucks dealer within the Renaudeau Group, is taking a major step in supporting the transition to electric mobility with the inauguration of a new electric charging station at its Lisieux site. Developed in partnership with Chargepoly, this advanced infrastructure anticipates the growing demand for electric vehicles, both for the group’s own fleet and for its customers.

With five Renault Trucks dealerships across Eure, Eure-et-Loir, and Calvados, the Renaudeau Group has nearly 60 years of experience in the distribution, maintenance, and servicing of industrial vehicles. In response to evolving regulations and customer expectations, the group continues to invest in infrastructure compatible with electric vehicles, aiming to achieve the Renault Trucks e-Tech certification. This certification ensures that dealerships can properly maintain and repair Renault Trucks electric vehicles nationwide. It requires compliance with strict criteria, including installation of charging stations, technician training, and acquisition of dedicated tools. The Lisieux site, along with SGVI Évreux and Le Poids Lourd Drouais Vernouillet, fully meets these standards.

Advanced Charging Technology for Operational Readiness

The new charging station, installed by Chargepoly, features a power cabinet (Power Unit) and two charging satellites, each delivering up to 200 kW. Designed for private use, it supports the charging of demonstration vehicles as well as the group’s future electric trucks.

“This station addresses a growing need and prepares our business for sustainable operations,” says Benoît Broussais, Operational Director of SGVI Évreux, Lisieux & Louviers. “It forms part of a broader strategy to guide our customers through their own transition to electric mobility.”

Developed in close collaboration with Chargepoly, the infrastructure meets all technical and operational requirements to support the evolving activities of the Renaudeau Group sustainably. “Chargepoly’s system immediately impressed us with its flexibility and capacity to meet both current and future needs,” emphasizes Benoît Broussais.

This initiative strengthens the Renaudeau Group’s position as a committed player in sustainable mobility, supporting both its clients and the environment. The group encourages its partners and customers to explore this innovative infrastructure and participate in the energy transition.
