With just six days to go before the opening of Solutrans, the leading biennial trade fair for road and urban transport professionals, Chargepoly is presenting a brand-new ultra-rapid electric charging solution. Available from 1 March 2024, this compact yet powerful charger has been specifically designed to make it easier to charge electric HGVs and rigid trucks in logistics warehouses and depots.
Next Tuesday, the Solutrans exhibition will open its doors at Eurexpo Lyon for four days of innovation, bringing together the key players in transport and mobility. Among the exhibitors: Chargepoly, the French specialist in ultra-rapid charging solutions, which will showcase its new compact charging unit for electric trucks.
A unique solution for the market
The new Chargepoly charger can be installed on various structural elements: walls, parking columns, gantries, or solar canopies – making it particularly suited to space-constrained depots.
Installed for example between two loading bays, the unit’s small dimensions (800 mm height × 300 mm width × 240 mm depth) make it an ideal solution for charging electric HGVs during loading and unloading operations.
Other key benefits include:
- Fast and simple installation, requiring no costly or complex groundworks.
- Safer manoeuvring for drivers, with reduced risk of collision.
- Full compliance with on-site safety requirements.
From 1 March 2024, the new charger will be available with a power output of up to 400 kW.
“This new compact charger is a direct response to the operational constraints faced by logistics providers and transport operators. With it, we now offer a truly unique market solution that enables fleets of electric HGVs to recharge rapidly and efficiently,” explains Hadi Moussavi, President and Founder of Chargepoly.
