Renault Trucks selects four electric charging experts for a fully integrated offer

Renault Trucks, the market leader in electric trucks in France, is strengthening its commitment to customers’ decarbonisation strategies. By selecting four specialised charging partners, Renault Trucks is providing fully integrated solutions to support fleets in transitioning to sustainable mobility.

To offer a comprehensive solution for electric trucks, Renault Trucks conducted an in-depth assessment of available charging solutions. The four partners, BUMP, CHARGEPOLY, MOBILIZE POWER SOLUTION and IZIVIA, were chosen for their technical expertise, knowledge of Renault Trucks’ electric vehicles, and the quality of their nationwide infrastructure and services.

Decarbonisation beyond the vehicle

Renault Trucks goes beyond selling electric vehicles. Its objective is to provide a complete decarbonisation solution that integrates both vehicles and charging infrastructure, tailored to fleet size and operational flows.

Selection criteria for partners included:

  • Project support: technical site audits, feasibility studies, and assistance with national or local subsidy schemes such as Advenir.
  • Implementation: selecting qualified service providers, monitoring schedules, and ensuring proper commissioning of equipment.

Operations & maintenance: guaranteed intervention times, remote supervision, spare parts availability, and preventive maintenance planning.

Support across four key stages

With these partners, Renault Trucks provides comprehensive support through four stages:

  1. Understanding customer needs identify fleet constraints and CO₂ reduction objectives.
  2. Assessing existing fleet and charging requirements use Renault Trucks’ autonomy simulator to evaluate energy consumption, factoring in routes, topography, weather, and speed.
  3. Designing customised solutions provide all-in-one contracts including financing, insurance, servicing, maintenance, and guaranteed battery performance.
  4. Implementation and operation support coordinate all parties, including charging partners, and monitor fleet operations via the Renault Trucks network.

Through this strategic partnership, Renault Trucks ensures its customers can successfully transition to low-carbon mobility while maintaining a consistent level of service nationwide.
