Battery Management System (BMS)

The Battery Management System (BMS) is an indispensable electronic system in any Electric or Hybrid Vehicle.

It meticulously manages, controls, and monitors all battery-related parameters.

Its primary function is to optimize battery performance while simultaneously ensuring its safety and longevity.

The BMS tracks cell voltage, current, temperature, and State of Charge (SoC) in real-time to prevent hazardous situations such as overcharging, excessive discharging, or overheating.

It also balances individual cells to maintain a uniform charge, which is crucial for preserving the overall efficiency of the battery pack. Essentially, the BMS acts as the battery’s “guardian,” ensuring reliable, safe, and high-performing operation of the Electric Vehicle over the long term.
