MCS: Megawatt Charging System

The Megawatt Charging System (MCS) is an ultra-fast charging standard designed for heavy-duty Electric Vehicles (HDVs) in North America, including trucks, buses, and commercial utility vehicles.

Capable of delivering charging powers of 1 MW or higher, MCS drastically reduces the time required to recharge large batteries, making electric fleets more practical and efficient for transport operators.

MCS addresses the unique demands of heavy vehicle electrification, enabling high-power, reliable, and safe charging in depot and fleet environments.

By supporting ultra-rapid charging, this technology facilitates the adoption of sustainable transport solutions while helping North American fleet operators meet operational efficiency and environmental goals.
