SOC (State of Charge)

The State of Charge (SoC) of a battery indicates its current charge level, expressed as a percentage. In other words, SoC represents the amount of energy remaining in the battery relative to its usable capacity.

A higher percentage signifies that the battery is closer to its maximum capacity. This parameter is vital for managing the range of Electric Vehicles and other battery-powered devices.

Additionally, Depth of Discharge (DoD), also expressed as a percentage, measures the energy already utilized from the battery, i.e., the amount of energy consumed since its last full charge.
