Meridiam is strengthening its commitment to decarbonized mobility by leading, through its Meridiam Green Impact Growth Fund (MGIGF), a €23 million investment in Chargepoly alongside Fideve Groupe, the company’s long-standing shareholder. The transaction will enable Chargepoly to accelerate its next stage of growth, expand internationally and further scale its integrated technology platform.

Headquartered in Aix-en-Provence (France), Chargepoly designs, deploys and operates high-performance DC charging infrastructure for heavy-duty fleets. Founded in 2019 by Hadi Moussavi, the company has developed an integrated offering combining advanced technology, project delivery and CPO[1] capabilities. Primarily targeting depot-based charging for truck and bus fleet operators, the group already operates hundreds of DC fast charging points across France, the UK and Canada, and is already decarbonising more than one million km of freight transport every month.

Heavy-duty transport electrification is accelerating, driven by regulatory pressure and growing OEM’s investments improving the economic competitiveness of electric trucks. In this context, building charging infrastructure tailored to intense logistics operations remains a major bottleneck. Standard charging solutions are rarely adapted to the tight space constraints, high power requirements, and strict operational schedules of logistics hubs and transport depots.

By combining a modular architecture that intelligently shares and allocates power across multiple charging points with its advanced software suite, Lucie, Chargepoly maximizes charging infrastructure efficiency. The solution lowers deployment costs, optimizes asset utilization and sustainably reduces operating expenses.By optimizing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and removing the technical barriers for the electrification of heavy-duty fleets, Chargepoly enables transport operators to transition more easily and cost-effectively to decarbonised fleets.

As a pioneer in heavy-duty fleet electrification, Chargepoly’s charging solutions have been widely field-tested and proven across all core sector use cases. Its solutions have now been deployed in carrier depots, logistics warehouses, industrial sites, multi-modal and port terminals, public stations as well as well as bus and coach depots. By completing advanced interoperability testing across more than 50 distinct heavy-duty vehicle models, the company guarantees unmatched operational success.

Chargepoly has successfully delivered its fully integrated solutions for transport operators such as Groupe Rave (France) or Nationex (Canada) as well as blue-chip accounts such as CMA-CGM The company collaborates closely with leading heavy-duty vehicle OEMs and their distribution networks, such as Renault Trucks, Volvo Trucks or Daimler Truck, supporting seamless charging infrastructure deployment right from the point of vehicle sale.

Yannick Marion, Meridiam GIGF, stated: “We are delighted to support Chargepoly in its next phase of growth. The company is addressing a critical need for infrastructure and services that enable the electrification of heavy-duty transport, combining differentiated technology, strong industrial partnerships and highly skilled teams at a time when the total cost of ownership of electric trucks is becoming increasingly competitive with conventional diesel vehicles. We look forward to working alongside Chargepoly and leveraging our expertise to help accelerate the development of this fast-growing market.”

Hadi Moussavi, President and Founder of Chargepoly, added: “This investment will allow us to accelerate our international expansion and continue to offer our customers best-in-class charging solutions to electrify their fleets. We are delighted to partner with Meridiam as we enter this new stage of growth. We are extremely proud to have demonstrated to our new investors and shareholders our ability and expertise to carry out this mission successfully.”
